Crusty
Baked Delmarva Chicken
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of onion juice
two 3 pound chickens, cut into serving pieces
2 cups of bread crumbs
1 teaspoon of sage
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
a pinch of garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
4 slices of bacon
1/3 cup of milk |

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Beat eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and onion juice together until
thoroughly mixed. Dip chicken pieces in this mixture. Combine bread
crumbs, sage, paprika, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Roll chicken in
bread crumb mixture.
Pour oil in flat baking dish. Arrange chicken in dish; spread bacon
slices over chicken. Bake for 1 hour, then add milk. Cover with lid or
foil, and continue to bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven, and
serve hot. Serves 6
